Welcome to Power-Up to Live-It-Up Cruising

Welcome to Power-Up to Live-It-Up Cruising.
This is our personal due diligence research project regarding Cruising.
Our first cruise with Royal Caribbean was on the Mariner of the Seas and was in April of 2026. It totally exceeded our expectations. It was a 5 day birthday cruise for Kristine.
We've already booked our next cruise for our 12th year Anniversary, which is in December 2026. It's with Royal Caribbean again and will be on the Liberty of the Seas.
Our YouTube channel and this website will be all about what we've learned and what we are continuing to learn concerning cruising and the cruising world.
Hopefully you, and those you refer to this website and our YouTube channel, will find value in what we're trying to pay forward.
We truly want you going on your own dream vacation on a cruise ship of your personal dreams or going on a cruise with us with one of our group cruising options. These group cruises will be available soon.
I'm not afraid to let you know upfront, we absolutely have an ulterior motive. It is being able to go on more cruises and help others go on their first cruise and then many many more cruises.
One of our major goals is to have a dedicated suitcase and backpack for each of us that is pre-packed at all times and is ready to go, whenever we book an amazing cruise. Especially if it's a spur of the moment cruise. Cruising once a month, once a quarter, or going on a multi-week, multi-month, or back-to-back cruise is always on our mind now.
Starting today and right now, browse to your hearts content and learn all you can about cruising.
Then Come Sail Away with Us.
Please Note: We are not a travel agency or travel agents. We have a few travel agencies that we are referring to you on one of our webpages. They come highly recommended.
We don't work with any specific cruise line in any way. All of our videos, research, opinions, and postings are our own. We are, however, completely and 100 percent bias. When we like or love something we will share it with you our phenomenal cruising community and we won't hold back. We promise that we won't feel bad about doing this either. Referring something that has brought us value or improved our quality of life will be shared with you. You can be sure of that.
Just sayin.

Mocktail Cruising Explained
00:00 / 02:51
What is a Mocktail‑Styled Cruise?
We hope you will listen all the way to the end, because we share with you what mocktail-styled cruising means to us personally, this website, and our YouTube channel.
A mocktail‑styled cruise is a cruising or sailing experience where the onboard beverage program is designed to offer non‑alcoholic, zero‑proof drinks, or simply no alcohol at all as a primary or even exclusive option, while still maintaining the fun, festive atmosphere of a traditional cruise.
How It Works:
Instead of serving alcohol as the main drink choice, a mocktail‑styled cruise features:
Zero‑proof cocktails like virgin piña coladas, strawberry daiquiris, and cucumber coolers.
Fresh juices, smoothies, and herbal infusions crafted to match the flavor profiles of alcoholic drinks.
Creative, visually appealing mocktails that rival their boozy counterparts in presentation and taste.
Inclusive menus so all guests — from children to non‑drinkers — can enjoy the same celebratory drinks.
Why Mocktail Cruising or Sober Cruising Exists:
Inclusivity: Ensures everyone can participate in poolside parties, sunset sails, and themed events without alcohol.
Wellness and lifestyle trends: Appeals to those avoiding alcohol for health, pregnancy, personal, or religious reasons.
Examples of Mocktail‑Styled Offerings:
Royal Caribbean: Watermelon Mint Lemonade, Tropical Crush, All Aboard Spritz.
Princess Cruises: Strawberries on Fire (jalapeño twist), Nojito (grapefruit mojito style).
Holland America: Pina Not a Colada, Fresh Grapefruit, Pele’s Punch.
Disney Cruise Line: Bora Shake, Frozen Heart, Replenishment smoothies.
Some cruise lines also offer sober cruises — fully alcohol‑free sailings with all activities and entertainment, but no alcohol served at all. These are often booked through specialized vendors, but many cruise lines now integrate alcohol‑free options into regular cruise ship sailings.
In short: A mocktail‑styled cruise is a way to enjoy the full cruise experience — from dining and entertainment to social events — while sipping delicious, non‑alcoholic drinks that match the tropical, celebratory vibe of the cruise ship.
What mocktail-styled cruising's meaning according to Robert and Kristine:
We will travel on any cruise ship and visit any port. However, we will simply not purchase the alcohol drink packages or drink anything with alcohol in it. All of our cruises are mocktail-styled cruises. This also means we won't be filming, covering, or discussing anything related to bars or drinking different types of alcoholic beverages.
We hope this helps you understand our cruising vibes and how we cruise personally regarding this subject of mocktail-styled cruising our way.
Happy Cruising to our Power-Up to Live-It-Up Phenomenal Cruising Community.
